Ad Content Policy
Prohibited categories
- Adult or sexually explicit content and services.
- Weapons, ammunition, and explosives.
- Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia; prescription drugs without required certification.
- Predatory financial products: payday loans, "guaranteed return" investment schemes, unregistered securities, and cryptocurrency offerings that promise returns.
- Gambling without applicable licensing for the targeted geography.
- Malware, spyware, phishing, or software that changes browser settings without consent.
- Counterfeit goods and services that facilitate academic or identity fraud.
- Health misinformation, including anti-vaccine claims and miracle cures.
- Political attack ads and election misinformation.
- Hate speech or content demeaning protected groups.
Required standards
- Truthful claims. Superlatives need substantiation; fabricated statistics, fake endorsements, and fake urgency ("3 spots left") are rejected.
- Accurate brand. The brand name shown must be the actual advertiser or product. Impersonating another brand is permanent grounds for removal.
- Matching landing page. The destination URL must lead to a working page (HTTPS) for the product or offer in the ad — no redirects to unrelated offers, no forced downloads, no popup walls.
- Clean language. No profanity, no excessive capitalization, no misleading UI imitations ("1 new message").
Enforcement
Campaigns are reviewed before serving and re-reviewed on any creative edit. Violations found after approval result in immediate pause and refund of undelivered budget; repeated or egregious violations close the account. Decisions can be appealed by replying to the rejection email.
